[Appearance] Ikkaku's a tall (5'11"), lean, well-muscled machine, his body made for the rough life. Every muscle is well-sculpted and not just for show, he's got the strength to match too. There’s a lot of wear and tear on his body from endless training; every scar his body bears is one he wears with pride. His face is sharp and chiseled and his eyes, black in color, are deep-set with painted red markings at the corner of each eye. Most notably about his body is the fact that he's bald as a cue ball. Seriously. You can fry eggs on that thing.
Clothing-wise, Ikkaku doesn't give a real damn ~~REALMENGONUDE~~. He'll wear whatever pair of dark-colored pants he can find, done up with a thick brown belt, and a white, usually clean, shirt. Oh yes, and a bandanna to cover his head. Completely incognito.
[Personality] Ikkaku's the living example of testosterone. He's violent, he's rude, he likes a good fight (or twenty), and he's a complete retard when it comes normal social interaction. Violence is always the answer in Ikkaku's head and he's not one to change his mind on that anytime soon. Life outside of fights isn't much of a thrill for Ikkaku. It's usually spent resting from a fight or walking around looking for a new fight to get into. A one-track mind, you could say.
He's pretty short-tempered at times, especially when it comes to people who make unwanted comments about his head. Or any comments in general about his head. His redeeming quality, despite all the very obvious faults, is his steadfast loyalty. Those who have shown to be more powerful than him are usually those he leaves his trust with, making him a valuable crew member who'll obey, though grudgingly at times, every command.
[History/Background] Ikkaku was once a proud member of a pirate crew led by Captain Kenpachi, but a crew mutiny broke him and his three closest shipmates apart, leaving him with nothing from his pirate days but his blade. Eager to find his friends again, Ikkaku set himself to work doing the only thing he knew how to do, fight. He managed to get himself by working in tournaments, checking every pirate-serving town he could find for signs of the others. Fiuay is his most recent stop on his list of towns, with a coliseum that's sure to keep him around for a good while.
